Morah Melissa

Director of JPlay After School
Morah Melissa is entering her thirteenth year at Temple B'nai Abraham. A graduate of Brandeis and Brown Universities, she's served many congregations throughout the United States. Morah Melissa has created award winning Jewish programs including the Jewseum, a hands-on Jewish discovery space for kids. She believes that kids learn best through doing, and never shies away from a good mess. All good messes lead to an amazing Jewish journey. She is wife to Rich and mom to Emily, Anna, and Jake.

Alicia Serviss has been working in after-school religious school programs for 16 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a minor in Judaic Studies from SUNY Albany, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her favorite thing to do in her free time is to cook. She live with her family in Springfield, NJ. Around these parts, they’re known as the “Secret Serviss”.

Morah Alyssa has been a part of the Jewish Learning Program of Temple B'nai Abraham for 20 years. She is a certified teacher in New Jersey for PK-8th grade, with specialty in Basic Skills. She has taught in public schools throughout New Jersey. She produced her own basketball team with five of her own children Dan, Daphne, Davey, Darcy, and Dale-yes all D names. She is married to Joe and lives in West Orange. She is excited to be taking on this new role at JPlay After School and certainly will bring not only experience, but a unique kindness!

Hello to all of the JPLAY families! My name is Nicole Baily. I have been working in education for 9 years and with the JLP for 5. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and an Autism Early Intervention Certification in Autism. I have a son and a daughter with whom are my pride and joy. I am so excited to be a part of the JPLAY family. I believe you can learn just as much from children as they can from you and I hope we will all enjoy a year of learning and nurturing.
